What makes ProActiv different
What sets us apart from other professions is that we are able to integrate manipulation, exercise and soft tissue treatments as a more holistic and comprehensive approach to musculoskeletal conditions.
In addition to undergraduate training, Nicky Smith has undertaken extensive postgraduate study to MSc (Master of Science) level and reached a recognised standard of excellence in neuro-musculoskeletal physiotherapy. This enables her to practice spine and joint manipulation, a specialist skill not practiced by all physiotherapists.
All our therapists attend courses and conferences as well as offering our own courses and clinical mentoring to other physiotherapists. Changes in practice and new developments in treatment require keen clinical minds to determine the best and most pragmatic approach to finding solutions that keep clients pain free, fit and healthy.
ProActiv believes best practice is achieved in an environment where there is the time and freedom to work clinically with enthusiasm, energy and innovation with client customer service as paramount. ProActiv has been able to grow and develop by a commitment to clinical mentoring, to attract and collaborate with other like-minded practitioners. The practice is now exerting its position in the city as the physiotherapy standard by which other strive to match.
